Deeper Places

Early in 2011 I started work on "Deeper Places" - encouraged by my wife's great faith. The songs took a long time to form and the cd seemed to create itself in its own time rather than to my agenda. The songs seem to find themselves from odd brief inspirations of a verse shared by my wife or a word on her daily calendar.

For 18 months these songs have developed, from the initial gift of a few words or notes, to the completion of the songs; each has had its own special journey to get to this album. In ways that are difficult to explain every song has been a gift; given rather than created – each in its own way a journey to a deeper place.

Dedicated to Him who gave the gifts so freely.
